Feds Agree to Another Insure Oklahoma Extension.
Gov. Mary Fallin announced on Friday that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has agreed to another extension of the Insure Oklahoma program.
Insure Oklahoma assists low income Oklahoman s and Oklahoma businesses that employ lower-income employees to purchase health insurance.
Approximately 3,700 Oklahoma businesses participate in the program.
Begun in 2005, the program was scheduled to terminate at the end of 2015. This latest extension, the third so far, will extend Insure Oklahoma through the end of 2016.
